sneek peek inside of my poetry book & update

Hello everyone,

On Sunday I released my poetry book out into the world. Pieces of me for you to buy. I feel so nervous and anxious, afraid of failing and wondering if I made the right selections…I feel like I am never satisfied so I just let it go into the world. I am so grateful for each and everyone one of you who follow me and read my poems.

I am grateful for your support.

As a poet, you all know that whether you are published or not does not change your state of mind, or your writing. I never thought anybody would buy my books or that I was even good enough to publish. Your perception of yourself changes daily, at least with me. One day I am full of self-doubt the next day I want to cry at how awful I expressed myself. Writing is personal and it comes from a place on the tip of my heart. I breathe easier when I write.

I just want to take this time to thank you. I will be taking the rest of the summer off as I turn a new leaf in my job. I will be back soon. Enjoy your summer and I wish everyone a peaceful and safe summer.

Much love,
